Browns Injury Report: Joe Hayden, Paul Kruger, Ahtyba Rubin

By on 10/12/2014 06:26:00 AM

The Cleveland Browns defensive unit looks more like a MASH unit heading into today's AFC North matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Browns have 10 players on the defense listed on the team's official injury report this week, including Pro Bowl cornerback Joe Haden.

Haden returned to practice Friday after missing two days with a hip injury, but his comeback was tempered by linebacker Paul Kruger missing two practices with a back issue and defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin injuring his ankle in practice Thursday.

Both Kruger and Rubin are listed as "questionable." Haden is "probable" and will most likely play.

Haden injured his hip during last week's record-setting, come-from-behind win over the Tennessee Titans, but has been struggling all season. The Browns are hoping Haden can help to slow down Steelers to pass-catching threat Antonio Brown when Pittsburgh invades First Energy Stadium today.

Krueger has been having a solid season in his second year with the Browns. The team could really use his pass-rushing abilities against Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
