Bruins Injury Update: David Krejci Return to Ice and is Considered Day-to-Day

By on 10/11/2014 03:21:00 PM

The early Saturday morning skate brought some good news for the Boston Bruins. Joe Haggerty from Comcast Sportsnet NorthEast reported that center David Krejci is nearing a return to the ice for the Boston Bruins.

David Krejci started the season on the injured list with a minor injury suffered during the preseason. The Bruins play the Washington Capitals tonight in Boston and Krejci could return to the active roster for the Monday game against the Colorado Avalanche.

The Bruins currently sit at 1-1 heading into tonight's game. Scoring has been a challenge for the Bruins who have scored a total of three goals in their first two games. The team would welcome the return of Krejci and his playmaking abilities. David Krejci led the team with 50 assists last season.

David Krejci is still considered day-to-day and Monday is the first day he would be eligible to return from the injured list.
