Celtics Injury Update: Rajon Rondo Feels 91 Percent Healthy

By on 10/30/2014 07:24:00 AM

Rajon Rondo of the Boston Celtics said he's feeling 91 percent after playing against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday. Rondo missed all of training camp with a broken left hand, but he was able to post a double-double against the Nets with 13 points and 12 assists.
Rondo is one of the oldest players on a rebuilding Celtics roster. At age 28, he's trying to model his conditioning after the San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker—he admires the way Parker moves without the ball. From
He's a guy that usually dominates the ball like myself, but in the Finals he got off the ball a lot and he never stopped moving. A guy at that age, not that he's be able to move with the young guys says a lot. [I like] how great of shape he's in. He's a guy that's that age and at the point guard spot, he never stops.
The nine-year veteran has averaged 11.1 points, 8.4 assists and 1.9 steals per game all with the Boston Celtics.
