Chiefs Injury Report: Eric Berry, Jamaal Charles, Tamba Hali

By on 10/04/2014 10:07:00 AM

The Kansas City Chiefs' injury report gave the status of Eric Berry, Jamaal Charles, and Tamba Hali for this Sunday's game.

Eric Berry
(Ankle) did not participate in this week's practices and has been ruled as (Out) for this week.

Jamaal Charles (Ankle) had limited participation in Wednesday and Thursday's practices, however, was a full participant in Friday's practice. The team has Charles listed as (Probable) for this week.

Tamba Hali (Knee) was a limited participant in this week's practices and his playing status is listed as (Probable) for this week's game.

This is good news for the Chiefs' offense that Charles was a full participant in Friday's practice. Charles has been banged up pretty much all year so far. Thankfully for the Chiefs and smart fantasy football owners who drafted Knile Davis as Charles' backup, Davis has done really well this year with 71 carries, 321 yards, and three rushing touchdowns. Charles' numbers in comparison are 27 carries, 115 yards, and one rushing touchdown.

The Chiefs' defense has been beaten by the injury bug this year. The defense cannot afford more injuries to an already-depleted defense. The team is hoping Hali can play and be somewhat effective this week. The secondary will continue to miss Eric Berry at safety for another week.
