Clippers Injury Updates: Jordan Farmar and DeAndre Jordan sit out game against Suns

The Los Angeles Clippers defeated the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday by the score of 108-105. The win improved the Clippers to 2-5 on the preseason. Blake Griffin and Chris Paul lead the Clippers with 35 and 34 points, respectively. The Clippers were without Jordan Farmar and DeAndre Jordan due to injury.

Brad Turner, who covers the Clippers for the Los Angeles Times, tweeted the following on Farmer's status before the game.
Turner also noted the following injury updates, including Jordan sitting out tonight.
Farmar is listed as day-to-day, while Jordan was just resting and could return to the lineup on Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Farmar, in his sixth NBA season, is averaging 5.2 points and 2.6 assists per game this preseason. The veteran guard averaged 10.1 points in 43 games with the Lakers last season and has a career average of 7.9 points and three assists in 454 games.

Jordan, in his seventh NBA season, is averaging 9.4 points and 10.8 rebounds per game this preseason. Jordan enjoyed his best NBA season thus far last season when he averaged 10.4 points and 13.6 rebounds per game. He has career averages of 7.4 points and 7.9 rebounds in 433 career games.
