Colts Injury Report: Reggie Wayne, Arthur Jones, Trent Richardson

By on 10/26/2014 01:50:00 PM

The Indianapolis Colts are trying to make it six-consecutive wins today, but they may have to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers without Reggie Wayne and Trent Richardson.

Indianapolis has already ruled veteran receiver Reggie Wayne out for today’s game, as the receiver is dealing with an elbow injury. There is a chance that they will also be without running back Trent Richardson, as he’s considered questionable with a hamstring injury.

Cornerback Darius Butler and defensive tackle Arthur Jones – both dealing with ankle injuries – are listed as probable to suit up against Pittsburgh. Third-string tight end Jack Doyle missed time earlier in the week due to a knee injury, but he was able to return as a full participant on Friday. He is questionable to play today.

After losing their first two games of the 2014-15 season, the Colts have peeled off five-straight wins, their most recent being a 27-0 drubbing of the Cincinnati Bengals. Considering the strength – or lack thereof – of their division, the Colts are poised to finish the year with double-digit wins and a home game in the playoffs. Their schedule has a few opponents that could prove formidable remaining, including the Steelers, Dallas Cowboys, New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns.
