Ducks Injury Update: Mark Fistric leaves game with upper-body injury and is questionable tonight

By on 10/31/2014 02:59:00 PM

Late in the first period of a 2-0 loss to the St. Louis Blues, defenseman Mark Fistric suffered an upper-body injury on a seemingly innocuous hit from forward Alexander Steen. Fistric would not return to the game and is questionable for tonight’s game in Dallas against the Stars.

Dhiren Mahiban from Pro Hockey Talk updated the injury by stating that Fistric wasn’t close to returning last night and is questionable tonight. He has played in only three of the Duck’s first eleven games, averages 16 shifts per game and is without a point overall for the season. Head coach Bruce Boudreau informed the press that Josh Manson will make his debut tonight to add depth for their injury-depleted team.

The Ducks are in first place of the Pacific division with a 8-3-0 record, and have two games left on their road trip before they return to California next Wednesday.
