Ducks Injury Update: Patrick Maroon Out for Tuesday’s Game

By on 10/14/2014 05:28:00 PM

The Anaheim Ducks are still completing tests on forward Patrick Maroon after his knee injury last night against the Buffalo Sabres.  Ryan Dadoun from ProHockeyTalk reported this injury and shared the actual video of the hit that caused the injury.

Tuesday morning the Ducks gave a slight update that the injury to Maroon is not expected to be serious, but precautionary tests are ongoing. Patrick Maroon is currently tied for the most assists on the Ducks with three and had assisted on a goal in three straight games. Anaheim plays the Philadelphia Flyers tonight before returning to California for their home opener against the Minnesota Wild on Friday.

Look for coach Bruce Boudreau to make some slight adjustments to the first line and the team is juggling a few injuries at the moment.
