Giants Injury Update: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie can play through leg injury

By on 10/09/2014 01:56:00 PM

The New York Giants have been pretty healthy this year, at least up until now. They have a few starters banged up for this week's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. One of the players banged up is Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, as reported by Jordan Raanan of NJ Advance Media for

Rodgers-Cromartie had some tests done to his left leg on Monday. He injured his leg in Week 4 against the Washington Redskins. The Giants said that he had suffered an ankle injury, but was able to return and finish the game.

The Giants did not have Rodgers-Cromartie listed on their injury report last week before the Atlanta Falcons game, although the veteran cornerback was checking in and out throughout the game. Rodgers-Cromartie has not seemed very concerned with his ankle, saying it was "ankle soreness." The Giants, on the other-hand, are starting to show concern to how serious the ankle injury will be down the road.

The team, as of right now, seem to be willing to let Rodgers-Cromartie play through the injury going into a big game Sunday against the division rival Eagles. The Giants had started off slow, but as of late, they have really found their groove. The game Sunday night should be another epic battle between two teams that frankly don't like each other.
