Giants Injury Update: Rashad Jennings has sprained MCL

By on 10/09/2014 07:30:00 AM

The New York Giants head into a crucial Week 6 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, and most likely without a major piece to this offense.

According to Giants' reporter Jordan Raanan, running back Rashad Jennings has sprained his MCL.
The injury occurred early in the third quarter against the Atlanta Falcons. Jennings exited after just ten carries for 55 yards.

There is no timetable for his return. While Jennings has yet to rule out playing against the Eagles, Jordan Raanan of says it would require a 'miracle' for the running back to suit up.

Head coach Tom Coughlin told the media:
"I am going to go day-to-day. I’m not going to change off of that until I am told differently."
Luckily for the Giants, the team can rely on Andre Williams who has shown signs of promise and versatility.
