Hawks Injury Update: DeMarre Carroll is a game-time decision for Monday's game

By on 10/06/2014 06:45:00 PM

Atlanta Hawks will begin their preseason tonight when they take on the Gold Medalist Anthony Davis and the Pelicans. Unfortunately for the Hawks, they may be without forward DeMarre Carroll tonight.

By the sounds of it, Carroll will likely play tonight, even if he only plays the garbage time. If he doesn’t take the floor tonight I’m sure he will be ready for the next game.

For the Hawks, this offseason was like no other. From losing out on free agency, to the classless comments made by upper management, there may not be a team in the NBA more anxious to get back to playing basketball.

As for tonight, the team’s first preseason game will be held at 7:30 PM EST at the Philips Arena. Tonight is also the night that fans will be introduced to the team’s new uniforms and redesigned court. Hopefully this helps the fans, players and personnel start the new season off on a different note. Time for basketball again!
