Heat Injury Update: Josh McRoberts expected to miss most of preseason

Unfortunately for the Miami Heat, forward Josh McRoberts is expected to miss most of the preseason. Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer tweeted news of the McRoberts injury today.
All things considered it’s not like McRoberts is expected to miss the regular season, it’s just a shame that he’ll miss the preseason. With McRoberts injured and other new pieces to fit in, the Heat have a lot of work to do out the gate. They can’t afford to play poorly this year, although I’m confident that Wade and Bosh won’t allow it. Neither is going to let this team fall apart - they’re both too talented and have way too much pride to let that happen. Plus, making the playoffs and potentially playing LeBron and the Cavs would be something amazing. My money is on the Heat. Call it a gut feeling but man oh man would Wade ever bring it in that series. I think LeBron would be a little taken back. Am I wrong?

As for the Heat, their first preseason game will take place on Oct. 4 at the KFC Yum! Center when they meet up with the New Orleans Pelicans at 7:30 PM EST.
