Hurricanes Injury Update: Eric Staal skated on Sunday

By on 10/21/2014 07:30:00 AM

Some positive news coming for the Carolina Hurricanes especially after a rough start to the 2014-2015 season of injured players. Eric Staal has started skating again after suffering from an upper-body injury.

Staal started skating with his injured teammates on Sunday after he suffered from an upper body injury. He skated with; defensemen Andrej Sekera and John-Michael Liles and forward Jeff Skinner before practice. The three are closer to returning to the lineup then Staal is, but it is good to see Staal back on the ice.

All the injured players are heading on the Vancouver road-trip. According to coach Bill Peters, there is a possibility we could see Staal in the lineup (if all goes as expected) against the Vancouver Canucks on October 28th.

Last season with the Hurricanes, he played 79 games, had 21 goals and 40 assists.

  1. You want to use the word "than" and not "then" in the first graph, as you are making a comparison about the injury status of the other players to Staal's.

Thanks for the informative update. I've got this guy on my fantasy team.
