Jets Injury Update: Dee Milliner could be done for the season

By on 10/13/2014 01:30:00 PM

The New York Jets are having a horrible season so far. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, it appears it has. There is a possibility that they have lost their promising young cornerback, Dee Milliner, for the season due an apparent achilles injury, as reported by Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

The Jets have already been struggling at the cornerback position this year. The official determination of Milliner's injury will be known today, but the Jets fear it is a season-ending injury. If that's the case, then the team can only hope Milliner makes a full recovery and will return for the 2015 season.

The Jets' head coach, Rex Ryan, is on the hot seat this year. He's constantly being questioned about Geno Smith and the poor plays of a once solid defense. The coach has done his best with what he has been given, but unfortunately when there isn't much talent, you can only do so much. The Jets' secondary already has holes in it, and Milliner's loss will only add more water to a sinking defense trying to stay afloat.
