Now before you fantasy owners go looking for a trade, is reporting that despite the soreness, Cousins’ injury isn’t considered serious. It’s more likely that with all the travel during the preseason and FIBA World Cup this summer, the big man just needs some time to rest.

In a recent interview with ScottHoward-Cooper of, Cousins alluded that having a busy offseason has left him feeling run down.
“I feel like I’m about 45 years old,” Cousins said.
Although Boogie is making light of the situation, the NBA is currently looking at how they can reduce the fatigue felt by teams and players during the season. As reported on Twitter by David Aldridge, experimentation is already on the book.
Personally, I would like to see the NBA shorten its season rather than the length of games. If players weren’t playing back-to-backs all the time and traveling so much, I’m almost positive that we would see a lot less injuries.

Wouldn’t it have been nice to see Rose or Kobe playing last year?
