Lions Injury Report: Calvin Johnson, Joique Bell, Reggie Bush

By on 10/11/2014 09:30:00 AM

The Detroit Lions head into their week six divisional contest against Minnesota Vikings with some of their biggest names listed on the injury report. Their two biggest offensive weapons, Calvin Johnson and Reggie Bush, both did not practice all week and their status for Sunday is in doubt.

Wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who has been ineffective to say the least over the last two weeks while battling an ankle injury, is officially listed as doubtful and is expected to sit out the divisional match up according to Justin Rogers of The Lions need him at 100% for the stretch run and keeping him sidelined, allowing him to heal, seems like the best organizational move.

Star running back, Reggie Bush is listed as questionable and will be a game time decision on Sunday. Bush is also battling an ankle injury which could sideline him for week six.

Running back Joique Bell, who missed week five after sustaining a concussion in week four, was a full participant in practice all week and is listed as probable. If Reggie Bush is unable to go, Bell would be the lead back and a solid fantasy option against the struggling Vikings defense.

Safety Jerome Couplin (ribs), running back Theo Riddick (hamstring) and cornerback Cassius Vaughn (ankle) are all listed as probable, with tight end Joseph Fauria and linebacker Travis Lewis listed as out.
