Lions Injury Report: Calvin Johnson, Reggie Bush, Brandon Pettigrew

By on 10/25/2014 12:46:00 PM

The Detroit Lions released their injury report and posted the status of three key players.

Calvin Johnson (Ankle) was a limited participant in practice all week. He is listed as (Questionable) for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Reggie Bush (Ankle) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. He did not participate in practice on Thursday and Friday. Bush's playing status is listed as (Doubtful) for Sunday's game in London.

Brandon Pettigrew (Foot) did not participate in practice this week. His status is (Doubtful) for this weekend.

Unfortunately for Lions fans and fantasy football owners, you will have to wake up early on Sunday to find out if Calvin Johnson will play tomorrow in London. The kickoff will be 9:30am EST against the Falcons. If Johnson can go, there is no guarantee he will have an impact in the game. As far as Reggie Bush is concerned, he wants to play, but his ankle injury will likely prevent him from playing Sunday. If he did play, you would have to wonder how effective he would be. Pettigrew looks like the surest bet that he will not play against the Falcons, due to not practicing all week.

The Lions will definitely face some offensive challenges tomorrow in London. The offense will look for Joique Bell and Golden Tate to step up on the ball. The Lions' defense has played well this year and match up nicely against the Falcons. They have the second-ranked defense in the NFL, allowing 14.9 points a game. They are ranked third against the run and sixth against the pass, respectively.
