Oilers Injury Update: Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle will not be in tonight's lineup

By on 10/14/2014 08:37:00 PM

The Edmonton Oilers will be without the services of center Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and winger Jordan Eberle when they take on the Los Angeles Kings tonight, according to Emily Sadler at sportsnet.ca.

Both are ailing from undisclosed injuries. Head coach Dallas Eakins said Nugent-Hopkins was "kind of bruised up all over" following Saturday night's 5-4 loss to the Vancouver Canucks. Eberle is listed as day-to-day and did not participate in this morning's team skate. Nugent-Hopkins and Eberle lead the Edmonton forwards in ice time so far this season. Through two games Nugent-Hopkins has tallied one assist, while Eberle has no points. Edmonton has started the season 0-1-1.
