Pacers Injury Update: Paul George making progress in recovery

By on 10/23/2014 11:00:00 AM

After suffering a compound fracture in his right leg less than three months ago, Pacers star Paul George has been seen practicing with his teammates.

George was seen shooting 3-pointers and midrange jump shots in the gym after the team's practice Monday.

Although there is no specific timetable for his return, ESPN reports George has plans to play again at some point this season, and seemed pretty mobile in a video he posted to his Instagram in which he played a "1-on-1 game" with his dog.

The 24-year-old average 21.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.9 steals last year before going down with the injury during a Team USA scrimmage on Aug. 1st. The Pacers were bumped out of the playoffs two years in a row by the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference finals.
