Patriots Injury Update: Concern Stevan Ridley tore ACL

By on 10/13/2014 01:45:00 PM

Following the New England Patriots win against the Buffalo Bills, running back Stevan Ridley was seen walking around in an ACL brace. There is a huge concern within the Patriots organization on the severity of his injury.

Albert Breer reported on Twitter:
Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald also reported the same concern. He reports that an ACL injury is not out of the question.

Ridley suffered the injury in the third quarter and limped off the field. He was seen on the bench attempting to walk off the injury, but ended up hunched over on the bench in pain. Shortly afterward he was taken to the locker room.

If Ridley is to be out, running backs Shane Vereen and Brandon Bolden are likely to shoulder more of the workload, with rookie James White, perhaps, becoming more involved in the offense.
