Raiders Injury Report: Derek Carr, Vincent Brown, Sio Moore

By on 10/11/2014 07:45:00 AM

The Oakland Raiders released their weekly injury report Friday highlighting several injuries that may impact their AFC West match-up against the San Diego Chargers.  Starting quarterback Derek Carr, who has been limited in practice the past several days remains listed as questionable for Sunday.  However Scott Bair notes that Matt Schaub and Matt McGloin continue to split reps with the second-team in practice this week, it is likely that Derek Carr will start despite a high ankle sprain and knee MCL sprain.  Both injuries have had nearly two weeks to heal and Carr's first-team reps are an indication he will be ready.

Additionally, the Raiders reported Vincent Brown was limited in practice due to a hamstring injury.  Friday was the first report of this injury for Brown, being officially listed as questionable, so it's likely fans will need to wait until game-day to know his status.  Brown, who has had a slow start to the season, made his first receptions of 2014 in the Raiders' last game.

Starting linebacker Sio Moore was also reported to be limited in practice all week by Raiders interim-coach Tony Sporano.  However, he did note his participation has increased across the week, which may be an indication he will see some action against San Diego.  Moore's status is officially questionable with an ankle sprain.
