Rams Injury Report: Jo-Lonn Dunbar, Kenny Britt, Zac Stacy

By on 10/13/2014 02:30:00 PM

Following a pair of close losses, the St. Louis Rams will look to upset the San Francisco 49ers at home on “Monday Night Football.” While St. Louis has quite a few players dealing with injuries, they should about at full strength Monday night, other than players already on injured reserve:

The only two players officially listed as out for the Rams are cornerbacks Trumaine Johnson (knee) and Brandon McGee (foot). Neither is a starter on the Rams' defense, but their absences could have an impact on special teams.

Linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar will be of primary concern for the Rams, as he is questionable with a groin injury. Dunbar was able to return to limited practice on Saturday and will be evaluated closer to game time.

Offensive lineman Barrett Jones appears closer to returning from back surgery that has kept him out since mid-August, but is officially listed as questionable. Jones has only appeared in three games since being drafted in the fourth round in 2013 due to various injuries.

Defensive end Alex Carrington was unable to practice Saturday due to a knee injury and is questionable. Running back Chase Reynolds picked up a hip injury in practice on Friday and is a game-time decision.

Wide receiver Kenny Britt sat out practice on Friday due to a knee injury but is expected to play. Running back Zac Stacy is also probable after missing practice on Thursday due to a calf injury.

Defensive end Eugene Sims is probable with a groin injury to round out the injury report.

St. Louis will be a big underdog against the 49ers, but played the Seattle Seahawks tough last year in a similar situation on a Monday night at home. The Rams will need players like Britt and Stacy to be at full capacity to have a chance at moving the ball against the San Francisco defense.
