Detroit Red Wings will be expecting veteran forward back into the lineup. Pavel Datsyuk has confirmed he will play on Tuesday night against the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre.

Datsyuk has missed the past couple of weeks after suffering a shoulder injury in the preseason back in September. The 36 year old missed the last two weeks of the preseason and the start of the season. He has been skating for the past couple of days but he was taking his time to return to make sure he was 100%.

Monday during practice Datsyuk said he was feeling better and could return to the lineup but he was only going to decide after Tuesday mornings practice in the Bell Centre.
He will be in for Franzen who is on short term injured reserved after suffering a leg injury on Friday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
