Saints Injury Report: Jimmy Graham, Pierre Thomas, Jonathan Goodwin

By on 10/26/2014 08:19:00 AM

New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham is listed as "questionable" on the team's official injury report, but is expected to play against the Green Bay Packers. Graham was a limited participant in practice all week because of a shoulder injury.

The Pro-Bowl tight end hurt his shoulder three weeks ago and despite have an extra week to recover because of the bye, he played limited snaps last week against the Detroit Lions and did not catch a pass. He was in on roughly 20 plays, mostly in clear passing situations.

The news is not as good for Saints' running backs Pierre Thomas and Khiry Robinson. Both have been ruled out of the game against Green Bay. Thomas sustained rib and shoulder injuries in last week's loss in Detroit, and was forced out of the game early. Robinson is battling a forearm injury. Running back Mark Ingram is expected to carry the load against the Packers.

Another Saints player you won't see on Sunday night is starting center Jonathan Goodwin. Goodwin's knee and ankle issues will keep him off of the field for the first time in a long time. Goodwin has been one of the NFL's most durable centers, starting in 92 consecutive games, good for second most among active center.
