Vikings Injury Report: Teddy Bridgewater, Jerick McKinnon, Chad Greenway

By on 10/02/2014 09:30:00 AM

The Minnesota Vikings have listed the health status of Teddy Bridgewater, Jerick McKinnon and Chad Greenway, according to the Vikings' team injury report.

Teddy Bridgewater (Ankle) did not participate in Monday and Tuesday's practices, however, the quarterback had limited participation on Wednesday.

Jerick McKinnon (Ankle) was a limited participant on Monday and Tuesday, and a full participant in Wednseday's practice.

Chad Greenway (Hand, Rib) was unable to go and did not participate in any practices held this week.

Teddy Bridewater's injury is definitely the biggest concern here. The rookie quarterback is coming off a win against the Atlanta Falcons last week in his first NFL start. Bridgewater looked very poised and confident throughout the game. The rookie quarterback was 19 of 30 for 317 yards, and he also ran the ball five times for 27 yards and a touchdown.

Jerick McKinnon has thrust into the spotlight due to Adrian Peterson's absence from the team. The runningback has been progressing each week. McKinnon was also impressive against the Falcons carrying the ball 18 times for 135 yards.

The Vikings going into Thursday night's game are being very cautious with Bridgewater's ankle injury. The team will likely see how he reacts to warm-up drills before making a decision on whether the quarterback will play. McKinnon's full participation during Wednesday's practice would indicate that he will play Thursday. Greenway will be out, considering he was unable to practice all week.
