Wild Injury Update: Jonas Brodin and Erik Haula out for tonight’s game

By on 10/30/2014 03:54:00 PM

The Minnesota Wild will be without defenseman Jonas Brodin and center Erik Haula for the second straight game tonight against the San Jose Sharks.

Mike Halford from Pro Hockey Talk reported that both Brodin and Haula will not be able to play tonight but are improving. Unfortunately, both players were the victims of vicious hits by the New York Rangers (one of which caused the NHL to suspend John Moore for five games) and have resulted in the Wild being without two very important players the next two games. Brodin has one of the strongest ratings on the team (+7) and Haula scored the game-winning-goal against Tampa Bay this past Saturday (10/25). Expectations for a Saturday evening return against Dallas is realistic for both players.

Minnesota is currently 5-3-0 and looking to win their second game in a row.
