49ers Injury Report: Frank Gore, Justin Smith, Patrick Willi

By on 11/09/2014 10:00:00 AM

With a record of 4 – 4 and coming off two-straight losses, the San Francisco 49ers could be heading into mercy water unless they are able to get things turned around against the Saints today. The Saints are also sporting a 4 – 4 record, although unlike the 49ers, the Saints are winners of two straight games:

The 49ers final Week 10 Injury Report was released on Saturday and is comprised of eight players, 5 questionable and 3 probable for today’s game.

The three probable players include RB Frank Gore (hip), DE Justin Smith (NIR) and DT Ian Williams (shin). All three were able to participate in practice on Friday and should take the field today against the Saints.

The players listed as questionable are as follows: CB Tramaine Brock (toe), DT Quinton Dial (eye), WR Brandon Lloyd (hamstring), LB Dan Skuta (ankle) and lastly LB Patrick Willis (toe). Of the five, Brock, Dial and Lloyd have the best chance of taking the field, as all three were at least able to participate in light drills during practice this week. Skuta and Willis were DNP at practice this week as they continue to recover.

The 49ers and the Panthers are scheduled for a 1:00 PM EST tip-off at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and can be found on FOX and Sirius XM Radio.
