Blue Jackets Injury Update: Fedor Tyutin suffers lower-body injury after colliding with Jakub Voracek

By on 11/15/2014 04:57:00 PM

Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Fedor Tyutin sustained a lower-body injury during Friday night's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Tyutin sustained his injury when he collided with the Philedephia Flyers right-winger Jakub Voracek. The Blue Jackets coach Todd Richards did not go into any details about the injury after the Blue Jackets snapped their nine-game losing streak except for saying that it's just a "lower-body" issue, according to the Columbus Dispatcher's Aaron Portzline.

Tyutin has two points (two assists) so far this season and has also led the Blue Jackets in shorthanded minutes.
