Blue Jackets Injury Update: Sergei Bobrovsky activated of IR, likely to start tomorrow

Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky has been taken off Injured Reserve and will likely return tomorrow after missing seven games.

The 26 year old who has been with the Blue Jackets since 2012-13 season, practised Thursday for the first time since breaking his finger on October 27th after being struck by a puck during practice. Anton Forsberg, who took over the Blue Jackets net for Bobrovsky has been assigned to the American Hockey League’s Springfield Falcons.

Bobrovsky has a save percentage of .908 with 207 saves this season.The Columbus Blue Jackets have lost their last seven games without Bobrovsky in the net.
