Blues Injury Update: Paul Stastny will return to the lineup tonight

By on 11/06/2014 01:21:00 PM

The St. Louis Blues are riding a six-game winning streak into their game against the New Jersey Devils tonight. They get an important piece of the offense back as center Paul Stastny will return after missing the previous eight games.

Stastny had been out the previous eight games with a lingering shoulder injury. In four games, he has one goal and three assists. This is his first full season with the Blues. His return adds another dangerous offensive threat to the Blues’ attack. During his past eight seasons with the Colorado Avalanche, he has excelled at setting up teammates and being dynamic in the the attacking zone. Over his career, Stastny’s goal-to-assist ratio is 1:1.87, which exemplifies how productive he can be on the ice.

St. Louis has won six games in a row and is one point ahead of Nashville in the Central division.
