Blues Injury Update: Reaves leaves practice with ankle injury

By on 11/12/2014 01:08:00 PM

St. Louis Blues right-winger Ryan Reaves missed Tuesday night's game against the Buffalo Sabres as he is dealing with an ankle injury.

Reaves limped off the ice before the end of Monday's practice, after he was hit in the ankle by a shot and stayed briefly on the ice before departing, according to STL Today. Coach Ken Hitchcock said that he didn't notice that Reaves had left the ice and only knew that he was hit in his ankle by the puck, but "we'll let you know" if anything happens in the meantime. Magnus Paajarvi, who has played five games this season and has been a healthy scratch for the past three games, is expected to be inserted in the lineup in Reaves' place as the fourth line right-wing.

Reaves has two points (two goals) so far this season.
