Broncos Injury Report: Julius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Montee Ball

By on 11/22/2014 01:00:00 PM

The Denver Broncos lost to the St. Louis Rams last Sunday, but more importantly, two of their best offensive weapons in Juluis Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders left the game with injuries. In addition to losing Thomas and Sanders, the Broncos were also operating without running back Montee Ball, who has been out with a groin injury.

According to the Broncos' injury report, each player has a different status for tomorrow's game against the Miami Dolphins. Thomas was unable to practice all week with an ankle injury and is listed as questionable to play. However, due to his inability to practice, it's looking like he will miss the game. Either way, Thomas' status will not be known until game time tomorrow.

After suffering a concussion against the Rams, Sanders was able to pass all of his concussion tests and was a full participant in yesterday's practice. He is listed as probable and will be good to go against the Dolphins.

Ball did not practice all week and has already been ruled out for tomorrow's game. C.J. Anderson will continue to start in his place.

For fantasy purposes, plan on using an alternate tight end in Thomas' place. Unfortunately kickoff for the game isn't until 4:25 PM EST, meaning his status won't be determined by the time the 1:00 PM games begin. Sanders can safely be used and could see an increase in targets if Thomas is forced to miss the game.
