Broncos Injury Report: Montee Ball, Wes Welker, Juwan Thompson

By on 11/09/2014 08:00:00 AM

Denver Broncos running back Montee Ball is expected to dress for today's game against Oakland. He is listed as "questionable" on the team's official injury report.

Ball had been sidelined with a groin injury but was able to get work in during all three of the Broncos' practices this week, but his availability is also questionable.

The news is even better for fellow running back Juwan Thompson. He is listed as "probable" on the injury report and expected to spell starter Ronnie Hillman when needed. He's been nursing a knee injury. Hillman has outplayed both Ball and Thompson since Ball went down, so expect Hillman to remain the starter.

Wide receiver Wes Welker's sore back isn't expected to slow him down either. Welker, too, is "probable" and not expected to miss a beat.

The Broncos will be looking to bounce back from last week's blowout loss to the New England Patriots. Today's game against Oakland begins at 4:05 p.m. ET.
