Broncos Injury Report: Montee Ball, Ronnie Hillman, Quinton Carter

The Denver Broncos released their injury report on Friday for this Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. The playing status for a few players is listed below.

Montee Ball (Groin) did not participate in practice all week. The running back is listed as (Out) for Sunday.

Ronnie Hillman (Shoulder) had limited participation in Wednesday and Thursday's practices, however, the running back was a full participant in Friday's practice. His status is listed as (Probable) for this weekend against the Patriots.

Quinton Carter (Hamstring) was unable to participate in practice this week, leaving his status as (Questionable) for this weekend.

The one player who will definitely not play is Montee Ball, who is out for Sunday due to a groin injury that has caused him to miss several weeks.

Hillman is probable for Sunday and it appears he will be able to play. The third-year running back has looked impressive in his five starts this year. His numbers so far are 75 carries for 349 yards and a 4.7 average per carry with two rushing touchdowns. If this production continues, it would make it hard for the Broncos to go back to Ball at running back when he's healthy.

Carter looks less likely to play due to the fact he was unable to practice all week. The team will probably make it a game time decision to see how his hamstring feels on Sunday.

The Broncos have a big game this weekend at the Patriots. This will be the 16th time Tom Brady and Peyton Manning have faced each other. Brady has won 10 times against Manning in this Hall of Fame match-up.
