According to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, linebacker Danny Trevathan returned to practice on Monday and his target return date will be in Week 14, in time for the game against the Buffalo Bills. Trevathan has been on the injured reserve designated to return list since October when he suffered a crack in the bone above his left knee. His replacement, Brandon Marshall, has played fantastically in his stead.
Trevathan has only played in two games this season and had a total of seven combined tackles in those games. He played all 16 regular season games last year and had 129 combined tackles, two sacks, four forced fumbles and three interceptions in what was easily the best season of his career. The Broncos are hoping he can return to playing at a high level for the last part of the season and playoffs.
