Broncos Injury Update: Julius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Ronnie Hillman

By on 11/20/2014 11:45:00 AM

The Denver Broncos offense has been riddled with injuries over the past several weeks and with the Miami Dolphins looming on Sunday, the Broncos are trying to get healthy. The injuries sustained by Julius Thomas (ankle), Emmanuel Sanders (concussion), Ronnie Hillman (foot) and Montee Ball (groin) could have the Broncos offense shorthanded come Sunday afternoon.

Jeff Legwold on Twitter reports that although Julius Thomas was out with the team stretching, he and several other players were unable to practice on Wednesday:
It was reported by The Denver Post that Julius Thomas has not been ruled out for the contest and Ian Rapoport on Twitter reported his injury is considered relatively minor. He was not able to return to action this past Sunday, but he seems to have the best prognosis of Denver's walking wounded.

The Denver Port also reported that Ronnie Hillman will likely miss this weeks contest and Montee Ball will be out two to three weeks after re-aggravating his groin injury. Emmanuel Sanders will need to pass the concussion protocol before returning to the field.

Keep an eye out for more Broncos injury updates throughout the rest of the week. Fantasy owners should have contingency plans in place.
