Browns Injury Report: Jordan Cameron, Jabaal Sheard, Karlos Dansby

By on 11/22/2014 08:04:00 AM

There's good news and bad news on the injury front for the Cleveland Browns. According to staff writer Kevin Jones tight end Jordan Cameron was able to practice Friday, but has been ruled out of Sunday's game with the Atlanta Falcons.

It's the first time anyone has seen Cameron on the field since taking a vicious cheap shot from Oakland Raiders safety Brandian Ross. Ross was fined $22,050 by the league for his hit. Cameron hopes to return next week for the Browns week 13 battle with the Buffalo Bills.

On the defensive side of the ball, the news is better. Defensive lineman Jabaal Sheard was listed as "questionable" on the team's official injury report with a foot injury. The team is hopeful he will be able to play against Atlanta. There was some speculation that Sheard's injury might need season-ending surgery, but after getting a second opinion the outlook appears to be better.

One guy you probably won't see come Sunday is middle linebacker Karlos Dansby. Dansby is recovering from a sprained medial collateral ligament, which he hurt in last week's game against Houston. He is listed as "doubtful" on the injury report. Dansby could be out as long as a month.
