The Chicago Bulls defeated the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday by the score of 118-115. The win improved the Bulls to 5-1 on the season, first in the Central Division. The Bulls were lead by Mike Dunleavy, who had 27 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the floor. Jimmy Butler added 23 points, seven rebounds and five assists. Backup point guard Aaron Brooks scored 10 points in 17 minutes, but tweaked his right ankle. The injury doesn't appear to be serious and he's hopeful for today's game against the Celtics.

K.C. Johnson, who covers the Bulls for the Chicago Tribune, tweeted the following on Brooks.
Brooks is currently listed as day-to-day. With Derrick Rose also out, expect Kirk Hinrich and Jimmy Butler to see the bulk of the minutes in the back court if Brooks is unable to play.

Brooks, in his seventh NBA season, is averaging 10.8 points on 50 percent shooting and 4.3 assists per game. The veteran guard has played for the Rockets, Suns, Kings, Nuggets and Bulls and has career averages of 11.1 points and 3.4 assists in 403 games.
