Canucks Injury Update: Kassian out 2-3 weeks with finger injury

By on 11/28/2014 11:54:00 AM

Vancouver Canucks right-winger Zack Kassian will not join the club on it's season-long, seven-game road trip as a result of a hand injury.

The Canucks head coach Willie Desjardins confirmed that Kassian's timeline to return is to-to-three weeks, according to a tweet from the Canucks twitter account. Kassian left Tuesday's game against the New Jersey Devils midway through the third period after sustaining a slash on his right hand.

Kassian has five points (two goals, three assists) so far this season.
