Cardinals Injury Report: Andre Ellington, Michael Floyd, Patrick Peterson

By on 11/01/2014 12:15:00 PM

The NFC leading 6-1 Arizona Cardinals head to Dallas Sunday afternoon in a match up of two of the top three teams in the NFC. The Cardinals have been playing well and have their starting quarterback Carson Palmer back healthy. They do have several key players on the injury report for the game though with Andre Ellington, Michael Floyd and Patrick Peterson all listed as probable according to the Cardinals official injury report.

Andre Ellington has been banged up all season and was again limited on Wednesday and Thursday before practicing in full on Friday while dealing with a foot injury. Although he has been battling injuries, he has played in all the Cardinals games this year.

Wide receiver Michael Floyd was a full participant in practice all week but is listed as probable as he deals with a minor knee injury. He is fully expected to play on Sunday.

Cornerback Patrick Peterson has passed the league mandated concussion protocol and was a full participant in practice Thursday and Friday. Fellow defensive back, starting safety Tony Jefferson, is also dealing with a concussion. He practiced in full on Friday but according to CBS Dallas-Fort Worth, he will have to pass the protocols and will be a game-time decision on Sunday and is officially listed as questionable.

The only other player with a questionable tag is tight end Troy Niklas, with running back Stepfan Taylor the only Cardinal ruled out for the contest.
