Cowboys Injury Report: Tony Romo, Rolando McClain, Bruce Carter

By on 11/01/2014 12:00:00 PM

The 6-2 Dallas Cowboys play host to the 6-1 Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon in a match up of two of the top three teams in the NFC. The Cowboys head into the contest with several questions marks, most notably the availability of the quarterback Tony Romo. Romo has been dealing with a back contusion and his questionable tag leaves his status for Sunday unclear.

Romo was unable to practice all week, but as Ian Rapport reports on Twitter, his official status will not be known until Sunday, although Romo is going to participate in the Cowboys walk through today:
Linebacker Rolando McClain is battling a shoulder injury he sustained in Monday nights loss to the Washington Redskins, but was a full participant in practice on Friday and is listed as probable. Fellow linebacker Bruce Carter broke his ring finger on Thursday and was limited in practice on Friday, but is also listed as probable and he expects to be able to play.

Besides Romo, the only other Cowboys player listed as questionable is guard Ronald Leary who was unable to practice all week due to a groin injury. Tackle Doug Free is the only player listed as out with a foot injury according to the Cowboys official injury report.
