By on 11/09/2014 03:22:00 PM

New Jersey Devils left-wingers Mike Cammalleri and Martin Havlat had both returned to practice Sunday after missing a notable amount of time because of injuries. However, left-winger Ryan Clowe (who sustained a head injury) and defenseman Jon Merrill (who sustained an arm injury) did not practice.

According to, Cammalleri missed six games with the Devils, with a neck/head injury after being elbowed in the jaw by Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn on October 24th. He ended up finishing the game that night and played the next night in Ottawa, but has not played since.

Havlat has missed eight games with a lower-body injury. He suffered severe facial cuts during the October 16th game against the Washington Capitals and missed the next game. However, Havlat returned to the lineup five days later against the Rangers but suffered a lower-body injury.

Cammalleri has played eight out of 14 games and has seven points (five goals, two assists), while Havlat has played only five games and has three points (one goal, two assists). Cammalleri's GP in his entire career with the NHL so far is 677, while Havlat's is 753.
