By on 11/12/2014 02:18:00 PM

All signs point to another concussion injury for winger Ryane Clowe of the New Jersey Devils. On Tuesday, the team placed him on the IR, retroactive to November 6th. In a corresponding move, New Jersey activated Martin Havlat who has recovered from his lower-body injury.

Mike Halford from ProHockey Talk reported that Clowe has missed the last three games since getting injured on November 6th against the St. Louis Blues. He has had to deal with multiple concussion issues over the past three seasons which is an ominous sign for his future. In 13 games, he has one goal and three assists for the Devils. Havlat was able to return to the team last night after not playing since October 21st against the New York Rangers. He completed 20 shifts and had a TOI of 16:38. In six games, he has one goal and two assists.

New Jersey’s next game is on Friday against the Washington Capitals.
