Ducks Injury Update: Beauchemin cleared to play

By on 11/18/2014 02:24:00 PM

Francois Beauchemin of the Anaheim Ducks has been cleared by the club to rejoin the team and could be on the ice today in Calgary, according to a tweet made by Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register.

The Ducks defenseman fell ill with the mumps virus along with right-winger Corey Perry, who was recently activated off IR. Beauchemin hasn't played since November 7th, missing the last four games, but looks like he's returning to action tonight when the Ducks take on the Flames in Calgary.

Beauchemin has four points (four assists) and has been averaging nearly 23 minutes per game this season.
