#Eagles sign CB Roc Carmichael and place S Earl Wolff (knee) on injured reserve
— Eagles Insider (@EaglesInsider) November 18, 2014
Wolff, a second year player drafted by the Eagles in the fifth round of the 2013 draft, had his season ended by an undisclosed knee injury. He recorded seven tackles in seven games this season, including one start. After Tuesday's training session, Wolff told reporters that the injury was something he'd been struggling with all season."It's been kind of on and off, I had my good days and I had my bad days," Wolff explained. "We just came to the conclusion that the best thing for me is to rest and get ready for next year."
To replace Wolff on the active roster, the Eagles signed a familiar face in Roc Carmichael, who played in 13 games for the Eagles last year. Carmichael spent the 2014 preseason with the Eagles as well, but was cut before the season began.
