Falcons Injury Report: Steven Jackson, Julio Jones, Robert Alford

By on 11/22/2014 08:31:00 AM

After missing practice Thursday because of illness, Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson and wide receiver Julio Jones returned to practice Friday. Both are listed as "probable" on the team's official injury report.

Jones returned after missing two days of practice this week. Jackson sat out Thursday, also with a bug that was making it's way around the Falcons locker room.

Jackson seems to be picking up steam as the season goes along. He's rushed for 182 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Falcons' last three games. This week he gets a Cleveland Browns defense that has struggled against the run all season long. Last week the Browns allowed Houston Texans backup Alfred Blue to run for 156 yards on them.

Jones is the 8th best receiver in the National Football League. He's pulled in a team-high 67 catches for 912 yards and three touchdowns. He'll get to go toe-to-toe with the league's best receiver from a year ago- Josh Gordon. Gordon returns after serving a 10-game suspension.

We know cornerback Robert Alford will not be covering Gordon in his return. Alford has been ruled out of the game with a wrist injury.
