Flyers Injury Update: Ryan White and Luke Schenn skate

By on 11/11/2014 08:00:00 PM

Good news coming for the Philadelphia Flyers. Two of their injured players practiced this morning before the Flyers skated. The two injured players were Luke Schenn (upper-body) and Ryan White (surgery).

Luke Schenn sustained an upper body injury during Saturday's game against the Colorado Avalanche. Schenn is expected to miss a couple of weeks due to the injury but it is a good sign now that he is skating.

Ryan White was signed to a 1 year-2 way contract in the summer when the Habs let him go. Shortly after the contract was signed he underwent surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle that he suffered during summer training. White was expected to miss 5 months (leading to a February return) but he could very well return before that.

Both players skated about 30 minutes today before the team practice.
