Giants Injury Report: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Rashad Jennings, Cullen Jenkins

By on 11/03/2014 03:00:00 PM

The New York Giants don't have too many names on their final Week 9 injury report, but could be missing a couple of key players when they host the Indianapolis Colts on “Monday Night Football.”

New York's big concern will be cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, who was limited in practice with back and hamstring injuries and is listed as questionable. Rodgers-Cromartie has been dealing with the injuries for several weeks and has yet to miss a game, although his role has been heavily reduced.

Running back Rashad Jennings is not yet ready to return from a sprained MCL, meaning rookie Andre Williams will again see a lot of action. Jennings resumed running drills in practice and is targeting a Week 10 return date.

Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins suffered a calf injury in New York's last game against the Dallas Cowboys and has been ruled out. The Giants expect to have everyone else available for Monday night.

Defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul is expected to play despite missing practice on Saturday with a shoulder injury. Punter Steve Weatherford was limited in practice with an ankle injury but is probable.

The Giants will hope Rodgers-Cromartie got significantly healthier during the bye week, as a thin secondary faces a tough challenge against Andrew Luck and the Colts. A win would move the Giants to .500, two games back of the NFC East lead, with a tough schedule looming the next three weeks.
