Giants Injury Report: Mathias Kiwanuka, Cullen Jenkins, Justin Pugh

By on 11/28/2014 06:00:00 PM

The New York Giants will have a number of injuries to overcome when they face the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

New York was already dealing with several injuries and had to add more players to its final Week 13 injury report. One new addition is offensive lineman Adam Snyder, who has been ruled out with a knee injury after starting at left guard last week, leaving rookie Weston Richburg to fill in.

Defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins will miss his third straight game with a calf injury. Jenkins has been in and out of the lineup since Week 7 due to the injury, but was able to participate in limited practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

Linebacker Jacquain Williams will also be out for the third straight game with a concussion and shoulder problems. New York expects everyone else to have a chance at playing.

Defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka was limited in practice all week with a knee injury and is listed as questionable. Kiwanuka was able to play through the injury last Sunday so it seems likely he will at least be active against Jacksonville.

Right tackle Justin Pugh was limited with a quad injury that kept him out last Sunday and is listed as questionable. If Pugh can't go, Geoff Schwartz is expected to start his second straight game despite missing practice on Thursday with a toe injury.

Linebacker Jameel McClain is expected to play after sitting on Wednesday with a toe injury. Safety Antrel Rolle missed practice Wednesday for a personal matter but returned the next day.

Injuries, particularly to the secondary, have helped derail New York's season. The Giants will have an opportunity to at least salvage something against the 1-10 Jaguars on Sunday.
