P.J. Hairston replaced Kidd-Gilchrist in the starting lineup and scored nine points on 3-of-8 shooting from the floor in 17 minutes. With Kidd-Gilchrist out tonight against the Warriors, expect Hairston, Gerald Henderson and Gary Neal get extended minutes.

The official Twitter account of the Charlotte Hornets confirmed Kidd-Gilchrist's status.
Kidd-Gilchrist, in his third NBA season out of Kentucky, is averaging 9.8 points on 62.5 percent shooting and 5.5 rebounds per game this season. In 62 games last season, he averaged 7.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. Kidd-Gilchrist has career averages of 8.3 points on 46.9 percent shooting and 5.6 rebounds per game.
